We had a great experience with OK Vinyl installing our fence (and then later, a back gate, a few years later) The fence holds up beautifully through the years and we’re so glad we went with vinyl instead of wood that needs attention year after year. Would highly recommend this local company!

We can't believe how the new fence has totally transformed our little garden, it now looks so neat and clean. Thank you for a great job! We would highly recommend OK Vinyl.

I have dealt with OK Vinyl for 10+ years. They are always willing to share their extensive installation experience, provide great customer service and offer very competitive pricing for the highest quality product.

Unlike other suppliers who position themselves as a competitor, as well as a supplier, OK Vinyl builds strategic partnerships with their dealer network, for the mutual benefit of both and ultimately the end consumer.

We contacted OK Vinyl based on the recommendation of other owners at Deer Park Estates. Our entire transaction was A1 Positive! They were very professional, from the first estimate through the entire installation process. Our new fence looks great, and is built to last! And the Customer Service process was fantastic. They even filled out our Warranty card and provided a stamped envelope to send it in to the manufacturer. We can't say enough nice things about this company and its people. Recommend highly!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had the pleasure of dealing with both Shaun and Brad. You couldn't do business with anyone as prompt and courteous or knowledgeable as these people. It's unfortunate that my idea won't work as intended however I was given a wealth of advice and suggestions. I highly recommend this business and I will be telling others I know who are considering installing automated gates.

Our Chain Link Fence Installation Methods

Every property is different. That’s why we offer a range of chain link fence installation methods—so you get the best combination of strength, stability, and appearance, no matter your layout or site conditions.

Dig & Set – Wet Concrete

Our most traditional method. Posts are placed in holes and set using wet-mix concrete for a secure, time-tested foundation.

Base-Plated Metal Posts on Concrete

Ideal for patios, retaining walls, or other hard surfaces. Posts are anchored using metal base plates and sleeved in vinyl for a clean finish.

Is chain link fencing a good option for residential properties?

Yes—chain link is a great solution for homeowners looking for a safe, affordable way to enclose yards, gardens, or pet areas. It’s durable, low-maintenance, and available in coated finishes that soften its appearance.

How long does a chain link fence last?

With proper installation and quality materials, a chain link fence can last 20+ years. Galvanized and vinyl-coated options help protect against rust, making them excellent choices for long-term value.

Can I add privacy to a chain link fence?

Absolutely. Privacy slats or screens can be added to block visibility and reduce wind flow. They’re available in various colours and densities depending on the level of privacy you want.

Will a chain link fence rust over time?

Not easily. Galvanized chain link fences are designed to resist rust and corrosion. For extra protection and aesthetics, vinyl-coated options add a second layer of durability.

What fence height is right for my property?

Fence height depends on your purpose. For residential yards, 4 to 6 feet is standard. For commercial security, 6 to 10 feet is more common. We’ll help you choose the right height based on your needs and local regulations.

What areas do you serve for fence installation?

We offer professional fence installation in the following British Columbia communities:

For all other regions, including Kelowna, BC, Kamloops, BC, Calgary, BC, Castlegar, BC, and Red Deer, BC, we supply high-quality fence materials but do not offer installation.
